Did you know children are less hesitant reading out loud to a dog than their peers? At Read to a Dog, each child has the chance to read
out loud to a friendly and quiet therapy dog from Lend a Heart, Lend a Hand Animal-Assisted Therapy Group. Children may bring their own books to read to a furry friend, or
they may borrow a book from the library’s collection.
