Region: Puerto Rico | Spice Blend: Adobo
Not to be confused with the classic Fillipino dish, Adobo is an all-purpose seasoning blend traditionally used in Puertorican dishes. It is made from salt, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, black pepper, and cumin, that can be used to enhance the flavor of meats, beans, and egg dishes. In Puerto Rico, this spice blend is a staple in most households and families pass the recipe down through the generations. Join us this month as we dive into this versatile spice blend!
