What is a Use Permit?

A Use Permit is required when a proposed land use is listed as “Use Permit” or “UP”. Use permits shall be approved or disapproved by the Planning Commission. The planning commission shall conduct a public hearing on an application for a use permit prior to a decision on the application. Notice of the public hearing shall be provided, and the hearing shall be conducted in compliance with Chapter 13.78.
