Code Enforcement is a division of service provided by the Town of Loomis and works in conjunction with other departments such as Building, Planning and the Town Engineer. It helps maintain various laws and ordinances that uphold health and safety concerns and the desirability and property values of the community. We respond to complaints, inspect and help educate property owners in reaching compliance. The process may seem slow because we need to follow the laws, provide proper notice for people to correct the situation, and abide by timelines to work with people to resolve the violation. If there is no cooperation, there are administrative penalties and other legal remedies that are utilized.
